This page is dedicated to the memory of Alaric Sasso Viso La Tutela. A truly great dog.
Sasso................
On the morning of April 19, 1999, Sasso Viso went to Rainbow Bridge. There is now a large empty place in our lives.
Sasso was always a gentleman, a friend, a protector and when provoked, a warrior without fear. His only demand was to be close by his family. He always ate his meals with his tail wagging, then groomed himself for twenty minutes after.
He was a true ambassador of the Neapolitan Mastiff breed. He made friends at the bank drive-up window, the car wash, the shopping outlets and Saturdays at work with Tina.
He was an extremely confident guy, being able to adapt to any situation and making himself comfortable anywhere his family was.
He tolerated the trips to the vet for check-ups. He loved lying in the sun, having his ears cleaned, hotel rooms, car rides, shrimp, and peanut butter on his waffles. He was a joy to be with.
We will forever be grateful to La Tutela Kennels for allowing us to have our time with the "Sassman."
He was a shining star who lost the battle with cancer. He was a stoic warrior to the end.
We all love and miss you very much Sassy boy..............
